What will the stars will be wearing for this Sunday’s Academy Awards in Los Angeles Ca? I know this Versace trimmed with Black Ostrich Feathers is bound for the Red Carpet

“And for night, I wanted to play with feathers,” said Ms. Versace, admitting that two of the most dramatic gowns with slit sides and plumed hems were leaving for the Oscars right after her show Friday.THE NEW YORK TIMES

I wonder what lucky lady will be wearing this gorgeous feathered gown! Could it be any of these actors nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role; Annette Bening, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams? My guess would have been the “Black Swan” herself, Natalie Portman (if she were not pregnate) So, my second guess is Nicole Kidman…Lets wait and see!

Even the future Princess, Kate Middleton can’t get enough of these fashionable feathered fascinators! Today she dazzled at the First Official Engagement when the happy couple arrived to a cheering crowd at Trearddur Bay in Angesley, North Wales, to attend the dedication of the new Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) lifeboat.

The velvet and feather beret was designed by Vivien Sheriff Millinery, a small company based in rural Wiltshire which makes all of their hats by hand…The small beret is made of chocolate brown velvet and trimmed with feathers (mostly pheasant) that match the rich brown of Kate’s outfit. It also features a cameo and badges from a military uniform maker – including, fittingly, a Welsh badge. -People Magazine

Wow technology had advance so much so that we cant even trust the fluttering sounds of a hummingbird. The Nano Hummingbird, developed by the Monrovia, Ca firm AeroVironment is

an experimental miniature drone that could one day do reconnaissance by landing on a window ledge and is capable of maneuvering on the battlefield and in urban areas.

For now it’s still experimental, but lets see what kind of tricks are up it’s feathered robotic wings.
